About I’m Marketable

Hi, thanks for visiting my website.

My name is Julie Francis. I live on the Central Coast, just above Sydney in Australia. I’m a marketing consultant and offer a range of services to help businesses promote their products and websites using the internet.

I started working online about two and a half years ago when I started my first blog. I discovered email marketing, oddly enough, when looking for ways to make my blog more attractive. Every blog made you sign up!

I have been a bookseller most of my life. I enjoy reading both fiction and non-fiction and loved being a bookseller. I was first to know about new trends and new books coming out introduced to me to so much that without this experience, I may never have known about.

But then the Internet grew from a frustrating collection of difficult to find information into the efficient library it is today. I started blogging in my spare time. When Borders brought in their newsletter I was impressed at the enthusiastic response from customers when asked to leave an email address. This marketing technique so impressed me I started to study how to do it.

Since then I have studied advanced marketing strategies with the Internet Marketing Centre. The techniques they teach are a complex mix of market research and direct marketing, but the effectiveness of them can bring thousands of visitors to a website. I continue to study and keep up with new strategies online from expert marketing blogs and websites who specialize in these little known but extremely effective strategies.
